Revlon Lip Products Review

There was a time I never wore lipstick and now its in my daily routine. So whenever I can try new lip products & colors…. I’m game! Never know which color will look good until you try it. I tried out 4 lip products from Revlon that Crowdtap sent me for free.

Revlon Ultra HD Lipcolor in Infatuation

This color didn’t look good on me so I gave it to my mom who likes darker colors. I thought it was hard to get an even coat.  only wore it for a short amount of time and it started to get patchy. I do have another color in the formula from this line and I love it. The applicator is soft & easy to apply the lip color.

There are 16 shades to choose from.

Revlon Kiss Balm in Strawberry

These balms are infused with natural fruit oils. I received strawberry and it smelled delicious!  The colors is sheer and you can build it up a little bit without leaving your lips feeling gross. Its easy to put in your pocket or purse when on the go. Leaves lips soft, hydrated , & kissable! Plus they have SPF in these for extra protection.   The other options: tropical coconut, crisp apple, sweet cherry, juicy peach

Revlon Ultra HD Metallic Matte in Gleam

Revlon Ultra HD Metallic Matte

This lipcolor Gleam is not matte so its weird its called that. It has a nice shimmery look and isn’t sticky on the lips. I also like that its hydrating. I really like this color on me and the shimmer just adds a nice touch.  The applicator is soft and makes it easy to apply.

There are 8 shades to choose from.  Flare, Glam, Dazzle, Glitz, Gleam, Glow, Luster , Shine

Revlon Super lustrous lipstick in Black Cherry

This formula goes on smooth & feels great on the lips. Like the first color I shared its too dark for me. Its pretty , just not for mre. I think this is great for Fall/Winter ( just not on me) I gave this one to my mom as well.  Its felt nice and hydrated on the lips. I do have a few other colors in this line and love the way they feel on and the color looks great on. There are about 54 shades to choose from!

Revlon Face Products Review

Crowdtap sent me 4 Revlon products to try out . I received 2 primers, insta-blush, & a 4-in-1 blending sponge.

RevlonFaceProducts

Revlon Photoready Brightening Primer

  • High Definition Filter Technology captures and transforms any light, blurring and softening flaws for a perfected, app filtered look
  • Helps to keep makeup in place all day

Revlon Photoready Brightening Primer

Revlon Photoready Pore Reducing Primer

  • Mattifies shine
  • Minimizes pores
  • High Definition Filter Technology captures and transforms any light, blurring and softening flaws for a perfected, app filtered look

Revlon Photoready Pore Reducing Primer

I wasn’t a fan of these primers. First off they have a weird smell, sort of like a glue smell.  Once I applied the primer and put my foundation on top , my foundation would settle in my pores more and make them more prominent. ( no beuno)   My makeup  would pill up in some places.  I then used a little less product and would put a little on my nose and cheeks. Putting a little bit seemed to help but only on my cheeks. I will continute to play around with it and see if I can make it work but as of now, I don’t think the primers are items I would buy.

4-in-1 Blending Sponge

This uniquely designed sponge Applies, Contours, Corrects, Blends for a flawless look

Revlon 4-in-1 blending sponge

I really like the shape of this sponge because it can be used different ways & fit in different spaces. My favorite part is the tip of it because it can easily go under my eyes , around my nostrils, & around lips so easily.

Revlon 4-in-1 Blending Sponge

Revlon Insta-blush in Nude Kiss

This is a cream to powder blush formula that adds a nice touch of color. Its blendable & natural looking. I wasn’t sure about the color at first when I opened it up and then swatched it. When I applied to my cheeks it added a nice natural color, like I was sun-kissed.

Revlon insta-blush Nude Kiss Before After

Left : Before  &  Right : After

Revlon Insta-Blush

It being in stick form , its easy to throw in your purse or makeup bag for when you are on the go since no brush is needed .  I’d definitely check out other colors in the insta-blush. There are 4 colors to choose from Nude Kiss, Candy Kiss, Berry Kiss, Rose Gold Kiss.

Revlon Colorstay brow , liner, & mascara review

Hello. I’m Carra and I’m a beauty addict! lol I love trying out new make up & beauty products. When I had the chance to try some newer products from Revlon, I was very excited.  Crowdtap sent me 5 products to try.  A brow pencil, brow crayon, mascara, eye shadow, & eyeliner.

RevlonColorStayCrowdtap

Super-length mascara #101 Blackest black

Makes lashes look lush & full. I really liked this mascara. I don’t know why I never really thought about trying Revlon mascara but I’ve been missing out. It made my lashes more lush and long. It enhanced them in a natural way but still gave my lashes some oomph.

Colorstay Creme Eye Shadow #730

PralineRevlonEyeShadow

This shadow is a cream that goes on smoothly and stays on . Its creamy and buttery and feels great on.  It’s also waterproof.  It has a built in brush which is a nice touch & comes in handy. I received the color praline which is a great neutral shade. It has a nice shimmer to it. I’ve actually been using my finger and in one swipe , my eyes look great. Its neutral but adds a little something to my look. I love it because I can wear it daily since its so easy to apply.  You can wear it alone , to your brow bone, use in the center of your eye to give dimension with other colors.

Colorstay Brown Pencil  dark brown #220

Revlon Colorstay Brow Pencil

This pencil is waterproof, has an angled tip point, & on the other side has a blending brush on the other side. It helps define brows.  It wears up to 24 hours. I like this pencil because the angled tip gives small lines which look like hair so you can’t tell you filled in your brows. I also like the brush on the other end to help blend . It also stays put and doesn’t smudge. I only did a little but toward my arch / end of brow where my brows get a little sparse.

Colorstay 2 in 1 angled kajal eyeliner #101 Onyx

Revlon 2-in-1 eyeliner onyx

This liner has an angled tip with a angled brush on the other side to help achieve a smokey eye look with one pencil.  This is perfect for a makeup bag when you take it on the go since its a 2 in 1. I like this eyeliner because its pigmented and easy to blend which makes doing a smokey eye simple.

ColorStay brow crayon dark brown #315

Revlon Brow Crayon

I realized crayon makeup are becoming more popular. I like them because I feel like I have more control when using them  This brow crayon has a wax to powder finish which is buildable & blendable . Its also waterproof . It wears up to 24 hours.

I liked all of these products. The mascara was my favorite. I even did a photoshoot and wore it because it made my lashes so pretty. ( I also used the brow pencil) Next up was the creme shadow. I love that its so simple to apply , I sometimes don’t have time to do eye shadow so now if I wanted to add a little more something to my look I just swipe some on my lid and im done.

I didn’t get too much use out of the other products. The eyeliner is going to perfect for when I go out and want to do a smokey look. The brow crayon didn’t do too much for me. I did use the pencil and really like that it looked natural and was easy to blend. It also wasn’t to dark.

Have you tried any of these products? Which do you want to try? DO you have a favorite Revlon product?
