Have you joined the Elf Cosmetics #PlayBeautifully Challenge yet?

Do you know about E.L.F ( eyes lips face) cosmetics?
You should, their products skincare, make up, & tools are super affordable and are actually really good.
The best part is they are becoming more popular, which means they are available at more stores like Target & CVS.

If you love make up you should follow them on instagram because they have #playbeautifully challenges that you can participate in. You could win $100 gift card or/and be featured on their page.

Recently I received a handful of goodies from their line and I’ve been loving them.

ELF Smoky Palette

Everyday Smoky Eye Shadow Palette $10
Yes that’s right only $10!
You can achieve a bold or subtle look with this palette. Some people have even been comparing it to the Urban Decay Naked palette.
You do have to build up the color with a few of these shadows & they blend nicely. Some of the shimmery shadows do flake a little. Great for day or night.
Perfect for shading, highlighting, & defining the eyes.
I like that it is thin and small with a mirror so its easy to travel with.

Smoky Eye Palette Swatches Elf Cosmetics

(I’m so pale, the lighter shades barely show up on my arm haha)

I really like the middle colors in the palette, so pretty. The shimmery browns are perfect for any look.

You can apply dry for a subtle look or wet for a more bold vibrant effect.
Choose a light color to apply over the eyelid as a base or to highlight.

Next apply a medium shade over the eyelid or in the crease to contour.

Then apply the darkest shade to define and line the eye for depth and a smoky look.

Have fun mix and match!

Blush: Berry Merry $3
Loved this color, it has a slight shimmer that gives you a healthy glow.
Nice pigment that can built up for a more dramatic look.

I’m wearing a little bit of everything mentioned ( lipstick, eye shadow, blush)

Lip Exfoliator – clear $3
( there is also cherry & mint)

ELF Lip Exfoliator

This gently exfoliates lips to remove dry chapped skin with a sugary sweet mix.
It is infused with vitamin E, shea butter, avocado, grape & jojoba oil to nourish & protect.

Apply to clean damp lips and massage in circular motions to exfoliate. Use a damp cotton ball to gently remove scrub. Apply lip balm afterwards.

It smells fantastic when you use it and your lips look & feel good afterwards. Great for the colder months…and perfect stocking stuffer!
I just want to smell this all day.

Moisturizing Lipstick in bordeux beauty $3

Elf Bardeux Beauty Lipstick

I wasn’t sure about this color but it is a great color for Fall. When I applied it to my surprise I really liked it. Its a little vampy but not to bold….maybe a vamp-lite lol
Goes on smooth, great pigment, creamy, nice shine.
Enriched with shea butter, vitamins A,C, E to noutish & hydrate the lips.
Make sure to wear a lip liner and your lips are exfoliated before wearing for best results.

Crease Brush $3

Elf Crease Brush

Has a tapered tip great for contouring and to add depth & definition. The brush is soft on skin.
I thought it was a tad big for me but it still works great.

If you are on a budget ( or not) ELF has so many products to choose from….even skincare. They are worth trying because the price is so great. With the holidays coming up , they make great stocking stuffers. You can even put together a cute basket for the make up fanatic in your life.

What is your favorite ELF product?

* I received these products complimentary from E.L.F cosmetics. I was not asked to write a blog post or was compensated. I just wanted to share these great products. All opinions are my own.
