I made & tried chia pudding for the first time. It wasn’t bad, I did feel like it was missing something flavor wise. Maybe next time I will blend the mango with almond coconut milk when letting it sit overnight.
What you need:
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 cup Almond Breeze almond coconut milk ( You can use any of your favorite Almond Breeze milks)
1 tablespoon of honey
splash of vanilla
Mix together in a mug or container. Make sure it is big enough because the chia seeds expand.
Put in fridge and let set overnight.
Open container & mix well
Add your favorite fruit and/or seeds ( pumpkin , almonds, pecans) I added dice mango to mine.
Chia seeds are packed with fiber, omegas, potassium, & magnesium. They help regulate your digestive tract, boost energy, & improve endurance.
Chia pudding is versatile so you can add whatever you like. This would also make a great guilt free dessert , just add some chocolate chips & strawberries or maybe raspberries.
I was recently part of a discussion about breakfast, and was shocked how many people don’t eat breakfast at all. Breakfast should be a meal everyone eats. It helps regulate your sugars and helps you start off your day & get through your day. It will also help you stay clear from breaking down and eating junk. The great thing is this pudding is already made , all you need to do is open the container , get a spoon, & eat. You can even add whatever fruit you want while you are letting it set. Its even easy to take on the go.
