Sugar Scrub Ingredients

You probably already have these in your home.I got the mason jar, peppermints, & sugar at Dollar Tree.

What you need:
Mason Jar
2 cups of sugar
1/4 cup of coconut oil ( feel free to use olive oil, grapeseed, almond ect)
1/4-1/2 cup of crushed peppermints ( can also use candy canes or food coloring and dye some sugar)
10-15 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil , (InstaNatural sent me this oil to review.)

First crush the peppermints. Use a rolling pin, hammer, weight. I unwrapped the mints, put in a bag, & then used a 10 lb weight to crush them.

Next pour sugar & coconut oil in a bowl and mix together.

Add peppermint oil to the sugar & oil mixture. I used about 10 drops . Mix until blended.

Now grab the mason jar and add some of the sugar scrub , pat down with spoon. Add crushed mints ( or pink/red sugar if you used food coloring) and layer it until the jar is full.

Add a ribbon or label.

Its that easy!

Use it for you body- sandal, dress, & shorts weather is almost here!
Peppermint is great to soothe sore muscles.
Great to use on your feet, peppermint is a natural deodorizer. ( Tip: wrap your feet in plastic wrap for 10 minutes, then rinse off)
