Deconstructed chicken pot pie over egg noodles

I was trying to figure out what I wanted for dinner. First it was black bean burgers , then stir fry, then cannellini meatballs over zucchini pasta.
Then I remembered I still had Campbell’s soup for easy cooking creamy garlic & herb with chicken stock that I wanted to try. What can I make with that ? They have chicken pot pie on the package and that started to sound really good on a cold day like today.

I didn’t feel like a traditional pot pie with crust and wanted egg noodles. I also was feeling like mushrooms, this is what I came up with.

Egg Noodles
Chicken ( I prefer chicken tenders)
Frozen mixed vegetables
Campbell’s Soup for Easy Cooking Creamy garlic & herb with chicken stock
Salt & pepper
Chicken Stock ( you can use olive oil instead)

Boil water ( with salt) for pasta . I used about half of a bag. Cook until done , drain.

Put a little bit of chicken stock to cover bottom of pot. Season chicken with salt & pepper. Place chicken tenders in. Cook a few minutes each side.

Add mushrooms ( cut to the size you want) & stir.

Add frozen veggies.

I added more chicken stock ( using about a 1/4 cup) for the whole dish. I did this so the frozen veggies & mushrooms could cook a bit and season them before adding the garlic & herb soup. It also helps the chicken get nice and juicy.

I took out the chicken tenders and diced the chicken. You can do this before hand. I just prefer this way since its easier to cut and I don’t have to touch raw chicken.

Pour in Campbell’s soup for easy cooking. Stir

Add egg noodles.

Place in bowl and enjoy!

This was really good. Perfect for lunch or dinner on a cold day. I also like it because its only a few ingredients and is done quickly.

Number One – Glucosamine review

Number One Nutrition- Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM

Glucosamine is responsible for building cartilage, ligaments and tendons. We need them to protect our joints and allow our bodies to move freely.

Chondroitin will help our joints be more flexible and elastic.

MSM is fundamental in the creation of collagen, elastin and cartilage which will ensure healthier joints.

These occur naturally in the body but their production decreases over the years. Cartilage becomes thinner as we age and it causes discomfort in our joints. Taking a supplement like this one helps replenish out bodies with these substances.

Good for:
-Joint pain
-Joint stiffness
-Joint cracking and popping
-Not being able to exercise as you used to

How Number One Glucosamine helps :
-Builds cartilage and protect our joints
-Gives our joints more elasticity and mobility
-Helps our body maintain healthy joints
-Helps minimize joint pain

For $24.99 you get 240 capsule. (Really good deal!) You take 3 daily with meals or directed by your health care professional.
-Money Back guarantee

The capsules are easy to take and don’t have any weird smell.
Amount per serving :
720mg of Chondroitin Sulfate
900mg of Glucosamine Sulfate
1200mg of MSM

I got this for my roommate who has laid tile for over 15 years. His knees, lower back, & hips hurt him. Hes only been taking it for a month or so. He still has pain but its not as bad. I think to really get the full benefits and see if it really works is when the bottle is empty. Its hard to tell with a product like this in a short time frame. I will also start taking these more as a prevention and to keep my knees/joins healthy.

Brookside Dark Chocolate Crunchy Clusters#DiscoverBrookside

Two years ago I found out about Brookside chocolate. I loved their chewy fruit center and dark chocolate combo.
It was perfect for a chocolate craving. You only needed a few to satisfy you. ( Even if you want to eat the whole bag because they are so good)

Well Brookside now has the dark chocolate and fruit but now added some crunch with crispy multigrains.

I received a back of Dark Chocolate Crunchy Clusters – Berry Medley flavor

Some of the clusters were quite big but I used the smaller pieces at the bottom to put in my greek yogurt as an afternoon snack. So yummy.

I snacked on the bigger pieces while I was checking out Crowdtap’s website and when I watched tv. I also shared some with my friend. He is a fan of these too.

Share with friends!

You can pair these with wine, top ice cream, by themselves, or put them in a homemade trail mix. So many other possibilities.

I know I’ve seen them at CVS, Walgreens, Target, Rite Aid. So check at store near you.

Have you tried Brookside chocolate? Have you tried these yet? What do you think?

*NEW* Neutrogena nourishing long wear eye shadow + built-in primer review #NTGAdvocate

Crowdtap sent me a new eye shadow palette to try from Neutrogena. I love trying new make up, any girl who loves make up/ beauty products does too! When I saw Crowdtap had an opening I applied immediately.

A little about Neutrogena nourishing long wear eye shadow + built in primer

*These eye shadows have up to 12 hours of wear
*Built-in primer to help prevent creasing & smudging
*Goes on smooth which allows you to easily blend shades
*Contains vitamins & skin nourishing conditioners for the delicate eye area
*Ophthalmologist- tested
*Safe for sensitive eyes
*Reatil for about $9.49

I received the ‘Smoky Steel’ palette. There are 5 other color palettes in this line, you can check them out here.

I like how they have a little how to on the back of the palette since its right there in your hand. You can also check out other tips & tricks on their website . You can also see what shades will go well with your eye color. here

The colors palettes for me are smoky steel for night and soft taupe for day

*from neutrogena site

The top color in your palette is your base, you apply that to your whole eye lid.
Second color is the highlighter, you put that on your brow bone under your eye brow
Third color is for the crease, you blend this in the crease of you eye lid
Fourth color is the liner, you apply this to your lash line start from the center then smudge for a smoky effect.

Here you can sort of see the steps:
Start when a clean face and add moisturizer. I do this right when I get out of the shower.
I keep it simple by just using concealer.

I like using this triangle method. It makes you look more awake and lifts the eye area. Use on any blemishes or where you are red.
Then I added a blush I go from apple to temple.

What would I wear when wearing my smoky steel Neutrogena long lasting eye shadow ?
I wore this black mini, white top with a bow on it, faux leather jacket, heels, and a red clutch for a pop of color. ( P.S this outfit cost me around $ awesome is that?!)

Final look:
I added a tinted lip gloss that enhanced the color of my lips, curled my lashes , added mascara & added a little bit of the 2nd color to inner corner of eyes.

I really liked trying Neutrogena nourishing long lasting new eye shadow. It was so easy to get a smoky eye in just a few steps. I love trying out new make up to see what works best and I like to play around with different looks. I might have to get the soft taupe for day time. I wasn’t really able to test out how long it stays on, my left eye was swollen for a few days (all weekend) and didn’t want to apply any makeup on it until it was better.

I did keep it on for a few hours though when I did apply it & the color didn’t dull & it stayed on well. I like that it has a primer already in it so its one less step when getting ready. I’m all about less work when doing make up . It will give me more time to dance around and figure out what I’m wearing. It went on smoothly, easy to blend, and it was light on my lids. I really liked the charcoal color ( 3rd color) .It had some shimmer in it and really helped blend all the colors together. The only con if I had to nitpick is I wish the darkest color for this palette ( black) was a bit darker and din’t go on as sheer but overall I liked it.

I definitely recommend trying one of these palettes out, whether you are new to make up or a beauty addict. The colors are great and so easy to get a day or night time look.

Have you tried these shadows yet? Are you a fan of Neutrogena, what are your favorite products from them?

Crowdtap sent me a bag ( what I used to my other recipes dishes here) but they also sent me a coupon for a free bag.

Discover what’s new with Campbell’s #DiscoverCampbells

Crowdtap sent me a box full of new and newish products from Campbell’s .
I was pretty excited because Campbell’s has such a variety of products so couldn’t wait to open the box. For most , I’m sure we have some kind of memory with Campbell’s. Mine was eating chicken noodle soup with a peanut butter sandwich (that we dipped in the broth) with my best friend in middle school. It was our favorite thing when we slept over each others house. Not sure why we had to have it but we did. Do you have a good memory with a Campbell’s product?

So what was in my box ?

•tote bag
•Skillet sauces Creamy Parmesan Chicken
•NEW Prego light home style Alfredo sauce
•Chunky Beer-n-cheese with beef & bacon soup
•NEW soups for easy cooking savory portobello mushroom
•Swanson cream starter traditional
•NEW Spaghettios micros original
•NEW creamy poblano & queso condensed soup
•NEW slow kettle roasted chicken noodle soup
• coupon for 1 free V8 vegetable juice cocktail ( sea salt and lime, spicy mango, or mint& lime)
•booklet of recipes/ coupons
•small cutting board
•wooden spoon

My friend Shawn was curious when I was opening the box and claimed the beer n cheese chunky soup. I was fine with that because I’m not a fan of beer.

He ate half of it in a bowl as soup then read on the back to put over a baked potato , so he did that with the other half.

Right when he opened the can I could smell the beer.. it was very strong . Reminded me of being at a frat party , the beer smell just filled the room. Even though I had a feeling it wouldn’t be a favorite of mine , I had to have a bite just to experience the new flavor .

To me it tasted like warm beer after taste. Yuck. Definitely not for me. Shawn thought it was ok but wouldn’t go out and buy it. To him , it tasted like bacon, potatoes, and beer. He said can I get drunk off of this? I feel like I have to burp.

We both think if the beer smell and taste wasn’t so dominant it could be better.

I think it would be good to target college aged guys or targeted for game day food (served over baked potatoes). Maybe if it was thicker and cheesy ?

Later on I wanted to try something too. I decided to try the Slow Kettle style roasted chicken noodle soup

I enjoyed the flavor of this soup ,it tasted homemade. It filled me up and satisfied my hunger . Sometimes with soup you buy they skimp with chicken , not this one. In almost every bite there was a piece. I love making soup but if I didn’t have time or wanted something quick I would choose this soup. Plus it would be easier to transport to work , don’t have to worry about spills.
2 thumbs up

Next I tried Campbell’s creamy parmesan chicken skillet sauce. I havne’t has these sauce before so was interested in seeing how it would taste.

It was so simple , easy , and quick to make.

I was also a fan that I needed a few ingredients to make it. This would also be great over pasta but I didn’t want pasta so chose to keep it simple with chicken & broccoli. The creamy sauce was very flavorful , nice consistency , and delicious. Would definitely have this again. It’s perfect when you need dinner fast.

Uh oh! SpaghettiOs micros

I haven’t had spaghettios in a long time. They tasted just as I remembered. I like the packaging , easy if you need to bring it somewhere since you don’t need a can opened and you can eat it out of the container. I personally wouldn’t buy this but I thinks it’s good for kids for lunch or after school to hold them off until dinner.
Campbell’s savory portobello mushroom soup

I tried the recipe that was on the box (and in my booklet) Speedy sausage rigatoni. I did change the pork sausage to chicken sausage since I don’t eat pork. They didn’t have the normal chicken sausage I normally get so ended up getting the precooked kind. I also went with bow tie instead of rigatoni pasta.
As you can see this recipe only requires a few ingredients and one pot. What’s not to love about that ?

It’s definitely a soup to cook with and not eat alone , for me anyway. It was a little bland but the sausage added more flavor to the soup . I think I will use this next time I make chicken pot pies .

Prego Light Alfredo sauce

I made this even healthier by using zucchini as noodles.
*I used my spiralizer, put them in a little water and let them cook, make sure they still have a little bite to them.
*Steamed broccoli.
*I cooked chicken in a little bit of chicken stock.
*Added the Prego alfredo sauce and added other ingredients.
*Put on plate
*Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top ( optional)

I normally don’t eat alfredo , so wasn’t sure what to think. When I do have alfredo, I make it from scratch. In the past alfredo sauces that Ive had from a jar had a weird taste but Prego was really good. I would definitely consider getting it again. It had a good flavor, light, no belly aches after.

Even though Campbell’s products are well priced & affordable, I found some good deals with the coupons I received with my box. All of this for under $5

Some products I bought myself during this sampling.

Prego 3 cheese sauce with veggie pasta and zucchini
Skillet sauces Chicken Marsala added mushrooms, chicken, broccoli and served over rice
Campbell’s homestyle italian style wedding soup
Campbell’s Chunky hearty Italian style wedding soup
Campbell’s Chunky classic chicken noodle soup

Love their chunky soups!

I have always been a fan of Campbell’s products. They have a variety to choose from , are affordable, and make meals easier.
I love their soups because they hit the spot and are fast. Good to bring to work or have for a quick lunch or dinner. They are flavorful and are good for all ages. My favorite soups are the kettle, homestlye, & chunky. They taste great , flavorful, & filling.
It was my first time having their skillet sauces and I love them. Such a good idea, they are quick and easy to prepare with little mess to clean up. Always good for a long day after work. You also don’t have to sacrifice flavor or go to something unhealthy. Hope they will come out with other flavor soon. They have different sauces too ; skillet, oven, & slow cooker.
I’m bummed I wasn’t able to try the V8 cocktail juices , I couldn’t find them in stores.
The Prego homestyle light alfredo sauce surprised me. I normally don’t buy jarred alfredo sauce. They usually hurt my stomach and don’t care for the flavor. Campbell’s did it right though,it was really good and tasted great. Maybe because it was light.
I gave away the the creamy poblano & queso. I don’t think I would have liked it but am on the look out for their condensed black bean, cumin & cilantro flavor to cook with since that’s more my taste.

Campbell’s products are great for on the budget, waistline, and help making meals at home easier. Highly recommend trying these products.

Have you tried any of their new products yet? Which ones? Have you tried any of the product I mentioned here? How did you like them ?

Listerine HealthyWhite Gentle Mouthrinse #ListerineTeam #sponsored

I love being part of the #ListerineTeam on Crowdtap. I was sent a bottle of their HealthyWhite Gentle ( sodium fluoride anti-cavity) mouthrinse.

If you would like to try it too check out Listerine’s website to get a $1 coupon

A little about this product:
– Removes & prevents tough stains
– Gentle on Enamel
– Kills bad breath germs
– Whitens teeth without irritation
– Use twice daily for a naturally white smile.
– First peroxide free whitening rinse

Have you tried a whitening mouthwash before?

I have and it wasn’t that pleasant. I couldn’t use it daily because it made my teeth & gums sensitive ; on top of that it didn’t taste good at all.

With Listerine HealthyWhite you don’t have to worry about that at all.

For me it wasn’t strong or overpowering. I also didn’t feel burning or was it irritating while I rinsed. The flavor I received was clean mint and it tasted just like that, no peroxide gross taste ( or aftertaste). When you spit it out it leaves you with fresh breath , clean teeth, & a clean mouth.
After rinsing with the clean mint whitening mouthrinse, it reminds me of when you leave the dentist and leaves you feeling confident & happy because you know you have a clean healthy mouth & fresh breath. This might be my favorite Listerine mouth rinse flavor wise since it was light and clean. The aftertaste didn’t leave you with a stale mint taste and just left my mouth feeling good.

If you read my blog I just finished up another Listerine so I haven’t been using this whitening rinse long enough to really see a difference yet.

I am enjoying using this product. Who doesn’t want fresh breath, a clean mouth, and healthy teeth just by swishing for 2 minutes out of your day?

Having whiter smile, fresh breath, & healthy mouth makes you feel confident. Whether you are going about your every day routine, a new job interview, or first date you should definitely use HealthyWhite mouthrinse.

I received this product for free from Crowdtap for being a part of the Listerine Team for review purposes. Opinions are my own.

Italian dinner night with Johnsonville #MeatballMasters

Crowdtap sent me a bag of Johnsonville classic Italian style meatballs plus a coupon for another bag. I didn’t know Johnsonville made meatballs.I was curious to see how they tasted. I normally don’t eat frozen meatballs only eat the ones my mom or family makes. I sometimes make them but not that much.

There are 3 varieties :
Classic Italian Style
Three cheese Italian style
There are 28 meatballs in each bags

When the bag arrived I had some left over pasta from the night before in my fridge. So I sliced & sauteed some zucchini and heated up the meatballs and put everything together. I sprinkled some parmesan cheese on top.

As you can see the meatballs are really good size. They didn’t break apart, were moist, not greasy, and were very flavorful. I was pretty impressed for them being frozen meatballs.

The next time I made a meal I spiralized zucchini for pasta, added sauce, meatballs, & sprinkled with parmesan cheese.

On the Johnsonville website they have recipes you can make with the meatballs for some dinner inspiration. Our you can come up with your own like I did for breakfast.

For breakfast ( no picture) was too hungry haha.
Sauteed peppers & mushrooms . Sliced up meatballs and cooked together.
Made scrambled eggs and mixed it together veggies and meatballs. Was really good.

Have you heard , tried, or seen these these Johnsonville meatballs?

Final thoughts:

I was really impressed with the quality, size, and taste of these meatballs. They were very flavorful. Still don’t add up to my mom’s but still good. I don’t think I would buy them again though just because I really don’t eat pork , but if Johnsonville ever makes them with turkey or chicken sausage I would be all over that. Though I think my roommate will be buying these because he loved them. Johnsonville meatballs are perfect when you don’t have time to cook meatballs from scratch or even if you are cooking for a bigger crowd and want to save some time. They are versatile whether you want them for breakfast, lunch , or dinner .

Check back later this week for another recipe I will be making with Johnsonville meatballs.

I’m a member of the Johnsonville VIPs and have received product from Johnsonville to review.
