Greek yogurt





Do you like Greek yogurt? It’s all I eat. Yogurt is great as breakfast, snack, or dessert.

I stopped eating yogurt because the consistency was too thin and didn’t like it.

Then someone said that they eat Chobani Greek yogurt and I should try it.  I loved it all I ate. Thought I don’t really care for their newer flip yogurts.

When I first got into Greek yogurt I feel like it wasn’t as popular as it is now.

FAGE is  tasty, has a nice thick & creamy texture.

A few months ago I tried Muller yogurt, I love the strawberry its like a mini dessert.

The past week I tried Oikos by Dannon, it was on a sale and I was like why not. First I tried the peach, pretty good so I went back to get more. I just had the apple pie. It was sooooo good. Definitely great for a snack or dessert.

What is your favorite Greek yogurt brand(s)? Whats your favorite flavor?

I usually like peach, strawberry, & pineapple.

Another great thing about greek yogurt?… Its a good substitute for mayonnaise ( which I hate..yuck!), sour cream,  egg for baking, butter, oil, cream cheese.




15 minute dinner -Mediterranean Chicken Wrap

This what you need :

Rotisserie Chicken

cous cous ( I bought garlic & herb)

Chicken broth

2 plum tomatoes

Feta Cheese

Lemon Juice ( I used a 1/4 wedge from a large lemon)


Wraps ( I used whole grain)

First make cous cous, instead of water I used chicken broth to give extra flavor.

while your waiting for the chicken broth to boil, cut chicken into bite size pieces & dice tomatoes.

I am weird and only like my tomatoes cooked & warm. I placed the tomatoes in the with the cous cous as I was waiting for it to cook & fluff up. Also add pepper & Lemon juice

Next you can either mix the chicken in with the cous cous or keep separate.

Then make your wrap

Cous cous w/ tomatoes, chicken , sprinkle with feta = yummo

Next variations Im going to try ; spinach or sundried tomato wraps, add spinach or zucchini


I made this again ( 8/20) added sauteed onion, garlic, zucchini

Influenster sent me coupon for a free Lifeway Kefir product so that I can try and review.

I’ve seen kefir being mentioned in articles & social media but never paid attention to what it actually was, I just knew it was good for you.At first I thought it was a grain , like quinoa but its not.

So many to choose from ; Yogurt, Smoothies, Ice cream, Fro-yo, Cheese,

I realllllllly wanted to try the ice cream but the store that carried the brand only had yogurt & smoothies. I only eat greek yogurt because I like the thicker & creamy consistency but was willing to give this a shot. Well as I was walking to check out I realized the yogurt was expired only by a day but I decided to try the smoothie instead. They only had Whole Milk or Blueberry smoothie. So I chose the blueberry.

The products were about the same price of other brands. For the 32oz smoothie it was about $4.50.

I was skeptical because I didn’t know if the milk would upset my stomach ( it didn’t).

I brought it to work to have for breakfast. I opened it up and took a sip. I was torn because it tasted good but like it said it was a “drinkable yogurt” and I don’t really care for that consistency ( thicker than milk but thinner than yogurt). I stopped eating yogurt because it was so “watery” or almost drinkable, then discovered greek yogurt ( yummm)

I don’t think will buy the smoothies again, I prefer to make my own and didn’t care for the consistency. If it was on sale , I’d consider buying it and make popsicles with. If I ever spot the ice cream , it will be going in my cart so I can try .

Pros : Healthy, Tastes good, Variety of products,

Cons: Hard to find/ store only carries limited products, consistency, price
